Privacy policy for participation in the Eurowings Boomerang Club mileage program
Description and scope of data processing
Sunny Cars offers its clients the opportunity to collect bonus miles for the Boomerang Club of Eurowings via car rental reservation. By clicking on the checkbox ("I am a member of Eurowings - Boomerang Club.") and entering the Boomerang membership number and first and last name, the system can be activated by the customer.
The following data is transmitted to the program provider
- first and last name
- program ID (Boomerang Club Number)
- miles
- booking / reservation number

Legal basis for data processing
The processing of your data serves to fulfil a contract to which you are a party. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
Purpose of data processing
The purpose of data processing is the transmission of bonus miles to the program provider on basis of car rental reservations, and thus the crediting of bonus miles to the customer.
Duration of storage
Program ID and your active participation in the program will be stored in our customer database as long as you actively participate in the program.
If you object to the transmission by Sunny Cars to the programme provider, it is only possible to delete this data from your customer account if there are no contractual or legal obligations (e.g. retention and evidence obligations).
Right to object and right to rectification
You may object to the transmission by Sunny Cars to the Programme Provider at any booking by unchecking the box ("I am a Eurowings - Boomerang Club Member").
