Pick-up off a rental car via smartphone
With Sunny Cars, you can make your trip even easier. Thanks to our smartphone pick-up service, you have the entire collection process in your own hands – no counter, no machine, no waiting. Simply land, sign digitally, and drive off.
How does the pick-up via smartphone work?
Step by step, it couldn’t be simpler:
- After landing, activate roaming on your smartphone.
- You will receive your rental agreement by SMS and sign it digitally.
- No deposit is required.
- You will then receive the registration number and parking space details.
- The car key is already inside the vehicle – and you’re ready to go!
To ensure everything runs smoothly, please complete the online registration at least 48 hours before pick-up. You will receive the secure registration link together with your voucher.
Where is smartphone pick-up available?
This service is currently available at selected stations in Spain. If it isn’t offered at your destination, you can alternatively use our Fast Lane service, available in over 30 destinations.
How do I book the service?
On the car selection page, you’ll find the filter Pick-up via smartphone under “Services”. Select this option to see all rental cars with the service included. Please note: booking is possible up to 5 days before pick-up – for last-minute bookings, the option will not be shown.
Can I add extras with smartphone pick-up?
Yes. Even with smartphone pick-up, you can add extras such as a child seat or an additional driver. Details on available extras can be found in the specific rental conditions and during the booking process.
Payment for extras is just as simple: after signing the rental contract, you will be redirected to a secure payment page. All common credit cards are accepted – including debit and prepaid cards that don’t need to be in the driver’s name. No credit card available? No problem. You can also pay for your extras at the partner’s office, for example with an EC card.
