How does one-way rental work?

You can already select the option during the booking process: Choose your desired pick-up location, uncheck return to same location and then enter your preferred drop-off location. You will automatically be shown all available rental cars where a one-way rental is possible.

What costs are involved?

At many destinations, one-way rentals are free of charge for rentals of three days or more. In other cases, a fee may apply. This will be shown transparently during the booking process. If the exact amount is not known in advance, you will be informed before your booking is finally confirmed. Payment is made locally in the respective national currency directly to the local rental partner.

In some cases, you can also pick up your rental car in one country and return it in another – for example, pick-up in the USA with drop-off in Canada. For international one-way rentals, additional costs for border crossings may apply.
